Personal experience and medical information

The writing here is grounded in lived experience. When something could be mistaken for medical guidance, it is labeled clearly and separated from personal narrative. Medical information in this publication is sourced from published research, clinical guidelines, or verified institutional sources, and the source is named.

Product testing

Products are recommended only after personal use under real conditions. Testing methods and duration vary by product type. When that context matters, the article explains how and how long the product was used. I won't publish a review I wouldn't stand behind in a direct conversation.

Sourcing and citations

When factual claims appear in articles, sources are linked inline or noted at the end of the piece. Sources that require institutional access are flagged as such. A claim that can't be verified doesn't go in.

Affiliate relationships

What Fits Now may use affiliate links in product-related articles. When an affiliate link appears, the relationship will be disclosed clearly and close to the recommendation. Commissions don't influence what gets recommended. If I stop recommending a product, I will update the article and remove its affiliate link.

Corrections and updates

Factual errors will be corrected with a dated correction note at the bottom of the relevant article. Substantive changes to existing articles will be noted. Content that turns out to be wrong will not be quietly revised.

Nora is a pen name, and the identity behind it is not public. The pen name does not change any standard described on this page.
